Somers and Wilmot Family

Post by mumbles »

Just Added all details of Walters Somers whose family owned Walter Somers Forgemasters in Halesowen when I noted one of his daughters Alice married into a well known Jewellers who owned Wilmot Manufacturing who were famous for EDW silvermark.
John Paul Wilmot married Alice Somers in 1901 but he was a widow living in Bellevue House Mucklows Hill Halesowen in 1911 which had previously been residence of Walter Somers.
John Paul Wilmot is buried in Halesowen Cemetary aged 83 in 1955 but I think he married again in 1917 to a Marjorie Williams
The Wilmot family is interesting and connects several times to Black Country so I have added
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =161055637
Edward Wilmot grandfather of John Paul is quite a character as he appears to have had 20 children by 3 sisters who he married between 1837 and 1859
I am looking for help tracing these marriages as it is not clear where or when he married.
Also would like to trace Marjorie Williams

Have not found Marjorie and father James Williams yet but her address is Witley Lodge which in 1845 was home of David Homfray and Jeston Homfray ancestors of Kathleen Homfray who married Frank Somers so must be a connection there
