The Genealogist is doing the 1911 census in conjunction with Ancestry.

They are releasing each county as it is finished whilst Ancestry are waiting for the whole lot.

The images they are using are more than twice the resolution than Find My Past.

The Genealogist has one tool that others do not have.

You can search on forenames and approximate years of birth and relation for up to six members of a family.

So even if they stuff up the surname you can find the family.

i.e for the 1861 census I would have picked the rare names and searched Staffordshire for

Jacob 1856 Son
Silas 1860 Son

You should be able to find that 1861 census on FMP now as they fixed their index within an hour of me logging an error report.

Thank you Mark, I am always sending amended names to them I don't know who did the transcribing for them but they are worse than me and that's saying something   .

I will take a look at the Genealogist web page and see what it is like.
