ARC TBC - Which boat were they on?
My grandparents William and Annie Hardie emigrated to NZ leaving England in ? late 1908. They had their 3 children with them, John, Jessie and Cath who were 8, 10 and 6 years old. William was born 17.05.1875 in Birkenhill, Elgin. Annie was born 02.01.1871 in Glasgow. I am trying to trace the boat they came to NZ on and when this was and also whether a Mathew McKay travelled with them. Many thanks.

Re: Which boat were they on?
If McKay went to Australia first he may have caught the Corinthic to New Zealand.
I will check the newspapers to see if it stopped in Australia first....

Re: Which boat were they on?
Looks like the Corinthic hit Sydney first and then went to South America via Wellington.
Plenty of advertisements for it AUssie newpapers. It went to Tasmanaia as well.

Re: Which boat were they on?
Thank you for your help. It looks as if the Hardie's and McKay travelled separately.
