Hi
Please could somebody help me with the baptism of John Humphreys (spelt variously) born approx. 1760-1770. He was apparently married to Eliza Spiers in Bicester in 1801 and the IGI/Oxfordshire Marriage Transcripts, 1538-1837 states that he was from Weston but I can't seem to find the parish registers for the parish anywhere online.

If you can't find records on IGI - you can find them in the IGI Library catalogue for St Mary the Virgin here http://www.familysearch.org/eng/library ... no=1214427.
A lot of the IGI stuff isn't yet on their web site, but you can order in the films and fiches into your local LDS Centre. Takes a couple of weeks for the films to arrive, costs about £3.00 and they keep them there as long as you need them.

If you have a lot of rels in Oxfordshire it would be worth buying the tranacrips of parish records from the Oxford Famiy History Site-it has the Marr of John and Eliza in 1800 http://www.ofhs.org.uk/CDsales.html#prs best RF

I'll look into buying Oxfordshire CDs when I'm a bit surer that I'm in the right parish, but I may well try and get into a LDS centre next time I'm in a town that has one.
