mattress covers

Post by Northern Lass »

I am after a memory foam mattress cover
anyone got one.

My bed is bit hard and I thought one of these toppers might help.

Don't want to spend a great deal :?

Don't know whether or not you can get them in the the UK, but here we have a thin top mattress (about 5-10cm), makes it dead comfy. We have a fitted sheet on the mattress, and a seperate one on the top mattress.

When MrsSRD had some comfort problems we went to the local sheet foam supplier and had a suitably sized piece cut. It was then laid on top of the mattress and under the underblanket. Cheap and it worked a treat, but they don't last long as cleaning them ain't easy. If you could make a removable cover out of some old sheets that might help.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.
