Aussie census night tommorow....

Post by MarkCDodd »

Had the usual privacy whackos on the radio this morning asking why they need all of this "personal" information.

As pointed out to them, the tax department already know how much you earn. There are a million places your year of birth is recorded. Why would you be ashamed of declaring your religion?

They expect that 90% of people will tick yes to question 60, allowing the retaining of the form for 99 years.

That will be the first time in Australian history that the census has not been destroyed.
