I think the one on the head stone belongs to John, all census's to 1881 says born Netherton, then he disappears, and It looks like he never married, the prisoner one to me looks like a different one. That death matches the the head stone.

so why does it say on headstone late of sydney australia? did he go but then come back and die over here if that is his death in sept 1908?

He could have gone off to Australia in the 1880s, and came back after the 1901 census. This could be the prisoner one, Deaths Sep 1905. Willetts Benjamin. 55. Birmingham. 6d. 27. Fits age wise, Benjamin Willetts. Age: 50. Estimated Birth Year: abt 1851. Relation: Prisoner. Gender: Male. Where born: Dudley, Worcestershire.
