Kinda warm downunder!

Post by MarkCDodd »

Middle of winter and the lowest temp in Melbourne last night was 18 degrees!!!

That is the highest for Melbourne since records have been kept (1850 onwards I think).

Fourth day in a row over 20 degrees.

A couple of weeks ago it struggled to reach 11 degrees for days on end.

Of course the global warmests are telling us we can expect more of this but refuse to answer why the second highest overnight August temp was in 1895 .....

We've had a week of sunshine here, which was great while we were in Copenhagen (apart from the fact that the weather forecast said rain, so I'd packed accordingly!), summer flowers have suffered a little while we were away, but now it's raining - and boy does the garden need it!
