Right i have just switched my gas and electrical supplier for the first time useing on of the comparison site.

gone into a 12month fix deal

has any else used this site or done this, and what were you results ?

why do you say right when you do something momentus

I use them frequently, if only to check out my current deal, but I find that it's worth checking out two or three of the comparison sites to see if any of them have a specific deal not available elsewhere; sometimes one can get a money back or shopping voucher by doing the deal through a particular site. Time for a comparison site comparison site maybe?

All he's done right is to change his gas and electric right to another supplier!!

I check and use them when I can.
I have often saved money or changed to one of the same company that better suits us.

Just had an e mail from BT - they've reduced my broadband payment for the second year running.

Just had an e mail from BT - they've reduced my broadband payment for the second year running.

Ours don't reduce the payment, instead they up the speed. We're thinking of changing to Fibernet, we've got cable at the moment.

One thing to be aware of with electricity suppliers (here anyway), they conveniently forget to tell you that above what you pay to them, you also pay a flat fee to whoever owns the cables where you live, so a deal that looks cheap when you work it out for a whole year isn't neccessarily so.
