ARC TBC - John Payne -Butcher -father & son?

Post by Maths girl »

On BCC there is this John Payne Butcher

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... yne-Family

1841 Redhalhill, Rowley Regis
PAYNE, John M 60 1781 Staffordshire Butcher
PAYNE, Hannah F 60 1781 Staffordshire
PAYNE, Sarah F 15 1826 Staffordshire
PAYNE, Joseph M 15 1826 Staffordshire

Sarah is noted as a child on BCC and two further children
Mary Ann 1818
George 1821

:?: Is there a reason Joseph has not been added as a child or just an error?

I have Sarah in my tree and during research have come across this John Payne Butcher --

1841 Garratt's Lane, Rowley Regis
PANE, John M 33 1808 Butcher
PANE, Elizabeth F 36 1805
PANE, James M 12 1829
PANE, Sarah F 8 1833 Staffordshire
PANE, Mary F 4 1837 Staffordshire
PANE, Eliza F 2 1839 Staffordshire

Originally I thought that John 1808 was her father and she was living with Grandparents but am now wondering whether John 1808 is another son of John 1781 and therefore brother to twins Sarah and Joseph (1826)-- family occupation having been handed down --

Can anyone find any parish records to prove/disprove a relationship here?
