Fun Time in the Snug (to be archived)

Post by mallosa »

Why not join us for a bit of fun?

1st game 'Dingbats' a game that taxed the brain somewhat!

2nd game 'True/False' Peterd was our winner but no-one got 10/10 Perhaps we can improve on this next time?

3rd game "Guess the Flim Clip" and we will draw a veil over the cheating that went on!

4th game 'Three words, change one' went on for a while but then we got a little more adventurous, hence....

5th game 'Five words, change one' that got us really thinking!

6th game 'Advertising slogans' this one was a bit short-lived.

7th game Another 'Word game' but with a difference. As many words as we could out of a selected word. I wont say who the champion was

8th game 'Christmas Quiz' , 10 questions to do with Christmas and the first to get all ten correct - won by Carol (well done gal)!

9th game We started the New Year off with another game of 'Dingbats' and those of you that didn't quite get it first time around, seem to be getting the hang of it now - great stuff!!

10th game A 'General Knowledge Quiz' and our winner(s) NL/Wolvie scored 8/10 in the quickest time too!

11th game Another 'Quiz' - and the winner, this time was........yes, you've guessed it - Northern Lass with 10 out of 10.

12th game 'Treasure Hunt' - FarSide was our winner, finding 8 out of '10 little green men' and both of the Cradley Vicars notebooks are on their way to her!

13th game 'A-Z of Pop Groups' what can I say...started of as a sort of game and ended up as a bit of entertainment for us all.

14th game 'Which Simpson's Character are you aligned with'....just for fun but the outcome was rather close to our members personalities.

Come on now, your turn!! Let me know what you would like to see in the next 'Fun Time' slot but - Please keep it clean

Next event to be announced soon

Right lets have a go at something a little different - yeh?

Which Simpson's Character are you aligned with?

Select one letter from each of 4 pairs of opposing personality type indicators

This will result in a 4 letter code

The code will be cross matched to one of 16 Simpsons characters with whom your personality is most closely aligned

1st Pair - Direction of your energy force

E
You prefer to direct your energy to deal with people, things or situations.
or
I
You prefer to direct your energy to study ideas, information, explanations or beliefs.

2nd Pair - Information processing

S
You prefer to deal with facts, what you know, to have a clarity, a realist in the here and now - for you the force is a tool, a fission screwdriver.
or

N
You prefer to deal with ideas, look into the unknown, to generate new possibilities or to anticipate what isn't obvious. You seek the nature of the force.
or

3rd Pair - Making decisions
T
You prefer to decide on the basis of logic, using an analytic and detached approach.
or
F
You prefer to decide using values and/or personal beliefs, letting your heart rule your head.

4th Pair - Organizing your life
J
You prefer your life to be planned in a stable and organised way.
or
P
You prefer to go with the flow to maintain flexibility and respond to events.

You should now have 1 letter from each pair, a total of 4 letters...

Post those four letters (must be in correct order) and when you have all done this, I'll let you know which one of the Simpson characters you are aligned with.
