I'm trying to track down info about Harry & Doris Chambers. Harry was born in 1916 in Southwark and died within the last 10 years. He was placed in a Quaker orphanage in Leeds sometime in the early 1920s along with his siblings, Viola Mary, Charles E and Rosalind (who died there in 1926). Harry had an elder son Robert, who committed suicide some time after 1943, and non-identical twins Stephen & Marilyn Chambers (still alive) who were probably born in the late 1940s.

I'm really after Harry & Doris' wedding and Doris' maiden name but the birth details of the children and Robert's death would also be useful.

Thanks Mark, we're not sure that it's the correct Robert, as you can imagine it's difficult to talk about in the family. As I understand it he was a pretty good racing driver, had tested cars for all the top teams in his day, but was unable to take it up as a career due to lack of funds and couldn't bear the disappointment. The 'after 1943' for Robert was because MrsSRD knew he died during her lifetime but had no other info.
