Prom Nights??

I didnt have anything near Prom Nights when I left school, not even a disco or get together.

Antie Em no doubt will be run off her feet getting dresses sorted for the girls!

A few of you teachers will know what a thing it is?

Yep nice to see all the hard work to end but I see it as more pressure. Bigger the better! Wilder makes it more too :roll:

Spent a fortune on my daughters dress only for her to say she was weaering trainers to the doo! :shock:

Now I feel as, doo de dah,(Cant think of the word!) because I dont know if I can press the dress ready, see all is done and sort out my mums 70th Birthday!

The dressmaking for the prom season is coming to an end, I just have two to get ready for Friday. Not had so many "Junior" ones this year, the primary schools around here have put a stop to it thank goodness.

We steam our dresses before they leave the shop, but if you can't find anyone to do this, leave the dress hanging up in the bathroom with the hot shower on and the door shut for half an hour and then leave it to "air". This normally does the trick.

:shock: :o I will not deny doing the ironing for 2 of my daughters who still live at home. They have told me they know how therapeutic it is for me to do it so they wouldn't dream of doing it themselves. Ah bless!!

My daughter has already thought of that she is going to buy a big house and build a lttle bungalow at the end of the garden for me.
With a track for when I cant walk to the house and an automatic chair to take me there to cook and clean up for her! :lol:

Oh the world has come tumbling down!
Hair extensions have been dyed too dark! :o
Fingers crossed the hiardresser will sort before 3 tomorrow... :?

I dont think she needs them to be honest but they all like them now :roll:
Her hair is long and thick enough as it is.
I was even thinking should we dye her hair to match, dont know whats easier :roll:
