Hi can anyone find the following family for me in 1901 please. It is Mary Elizabeth I am needing to find but also her parents if she is not with them. Mary Elizabeth married in 1904 in Blackpool, however she had a child (William Francis Higgins) in 1901 (after the census) who's birth was registered in Manchester. She will be in the Lancashire area somewhere but no idea where at the time of the census. The two witnesses for her marriage both had the surname "Carter" so i'm wondering if I may find them living with her

I have the marriage certificate and Mary Elizabeth's father is listed as William Higgins, Coal Merchant. She was a spinster so hadn't been married before. Her residence at the time of the marriage was 33 Bagot Street and the marriage was in the Parish of South Shore in the County of Lancaster. Because of this information I think the original family I have in 1891 is correct and also the 1901 you have given me.
The other 1901 is very confusing as she is obviously not wife to Felix Brennan as his wife is listed, which means she is married but her husband isn't there? In which case this Mary must have married a Higgins and not been born Higgins so i'm thinking this has to be the wrong one, unless "wife" is a mistake as the age is about right.
Does anyone have the 1911 for either or both families? Thankyou

and no children with her. She would have been pregnant with William Francis at the time of the census so she must have lost the other two sometime between 1902 & 1904 inclusive. I've tried searching for Higgins births and deaths but there are lots of births and deaths of both Higgins and Floyd so I don't think I will be able to find out....or maybe she lost them before she was pregnant with William Francis...a losing battle I think but thankyou I have all the info for Mary Elizabeth now
