First marriage for Tobias Guest and Jane Hackett

22 Jan 1837 - St Thomas, Dudley
Tobias Guest, B, of this Parish
Jane Hackett, S, of this Parish
Wit : John Hackett and Joseph Shaw
Everyone signed with X

Tobias died in 1842 and Jane remarried to Amos Hanson

This is the only marriage I can find :

30 December 1851 - St Thomas, Dudley
Amos Anson, OFA, Wid, Nailer, of Kates Hill, Father James Anson (Dec), Nailer
Jane Hipkiss, OFA, Wid, of Dudley, Father James Hipkiss (Dec), Nailer<br>
Wit : Samuel Edwards and Leah Edwards

Everything fits, except for Jane's name.

Janes marriage to Amos Anson gives her father`s name as James Hipkiss.

I have found a baptism for Jane Hipkiss, 13 April 1817 to James and Jane Hipkiss.

Is her name in the first marriage a mistake, was it misheard?

All born in county.

Looks like a mistake on the marriage cert.
