Hello Sue

If your grandmother was unmarried when she had your mom - do you know your grandmother's full name and where she was born? If not, you will need your mom's birth certificate before you can go any further back.

So, if this is your Thomas, and we know from the information on the marriage that his father is Arthur, we are now looking for a marriage between : Arthur Perry and Spouse's name Banks, before 1913 - probably in the Kings Norton area

We seem to have a Thomas A Perry and a Thomas E Perry both born in Kings Norton in 1913

There is also this one for Thomas E Perry.

Evelyn's mother was Selina Ann Higgins born Bilston Staffs Back of 32 Gozzard St Bilston.
