Re: 1891 census lookup Whitehead
Now there''s the rub, he's Thomas in some records, William in others and William Thomas in others, is it the same man? If it isn't then there's a William, a Thomas and a William Thomas, all of the same age and all with with a wife Etty Flora of the same age, and there don't seem to be enough Etty Floras to go round the three of them. They also seem to be considerably lacking in imagination as they all seem to be calling their children by the same names, children which, coincidentally, all have much the same ages. Where's Hope when you need her.
Thanks Jimmy, given the above I think it's fair to assume that they are one and the same family and that's shown that there was a daughter Etty Flora, which makes the fifth living child mentioned in Sue's FMP 1911 census and, as there's no George in the 1901 census, I think it's also fair to assume that he's the dead one. And lo and behold we have:
FreeBMD
Deaths Jun 1891 (>99%)
Whitehead George Edward 0 Woolwich 1d 852
Sorted.
