My research led me to believe that the John Raybould who is the son of William and Rosanna married Zipporah Wood in St Michael"™s Church, Brierley Hill, Staffordshire on 1 January 1855 (though I do not have a copy of the certificate). The LDS website shows the marriage and shows also that John was the son of William Raybould and that Zipporah was the daughter of Elisha Wood.
The first 1857 Notes of Reverend Thompson show them living in Back Lane, Cradley and, helpfully, Reverend Thompson confirms that John is the son of William and Rosanna.
The 1861 census shows John and Zipporah living in Lumban"™s Bank (near Anvil Yard), Cradley with a lodger, William Wood, the brother of Zipporah; William (born abt 1838) is described as a "˜Thick Coal Miner"™.
A BMD record shows the death of John in the December quarter of 1861 and it is believed he died in Lumban"™s Bank, Cradley on 16 October 1861.
Subsequently, an record was found on the LDS site of the remarriage of Zipporah (Raybould) to Samuel Richards in Old Swinford on 6 October 1862.
Hope this is helpful.
