this is my first try here so I hope I´m in the right place. My Great grandfther x3 was EDWARD BYATT who was born in Sandon Herts in about 1775, He married his 1st wife SARAH HEAD in Throcking Herts in 1803. I can´t find out when she died. He then married MARY HOLLINGSWORTH in Sandon in 1812, they had 3 children Edward died in 1850 at Sandon. Could anyone advise me where to get information about his parents or siblings . Ive tried Herts family history society, and Hertfordshire- genealogy but no info there. So what do I do next? Thanks mrgain

do you have any of the marriage info from the archieves if so who were the witnesses ?

i would find which is the local archive and send them an email asking how much would it cost for a photocopy of the two marriage entries for edward as you wish to know who the witnesses are for both marriage it wont cost you a fortune and you might be luck they might send you the info by email for nowt if not poss tenner ? but ring and ask them ?
