ARC TBC.........Samuel BITHERIDGE (?) born 1816..nailer

Post by expat66 »

Got horribly sidetracked looking for parents of Mary DETHERIDGE ( born abt 1820 Warley)....in BCC tree and my own family tree ( she was married to Ephraim DEARNE)...

....so I was looking at the 1841 census.... looking for DETHERIDGE'S living near DEARNES and came across a Samuel BITHERDGE(?) born around 1816..... don't know whether this has been incorrectly transcribed... could it be DETHERIDGE? and could he be a relative ( couldn't find him on the BCC tree)

The address was Cakemoor.... Bank House on Halesowen Oldbury District 11 page 1
... wanted to save portion of the census image and put on here but my computer is playing up!

What do you guys think?.... is the name DETHERIDGE?

Thanks Mark,
On Mary's marriage to Ephraim her father is listed as John DETHERIDGE, a labourer, so I was hoping to find a John... no luck so far.
I suppose that Samuel born 1786 could be an uncle? ( as Mary was born around )1819

Thanks grangers14,
I wonder if he is the father of my Mary DETHERIDGE?
and maybe also the father of that Samuel living with the NEALES in 1841?
He's on BCC tree too isn't he?

Just came across this...marriage between a Detheridge and a Neale...

marriage: 13 Aug 1821 -St. Philip'S Cathedral, Birmingham, Warwick, England
spouse: Samuel Neal

record title: England Marriages, 1538-1973
groom's name: Samuel Neal
bride's name: Mary Detheridge
marriage date: 13 Aug 1821
marriage place: St. Philip'S Cathedral, Birmingham, Warwick, England

.... don't know whether this connects with anyone on that 1841 census?
