Around the table

Post by Northern Lass »

Just had a lovely Sunday Meal
not from the Chippie

around the table, wine good convo very relaxed.

I have to admit we don't often do that it is normally on trays!

Do you eat your meal in the evening at the table or on trays?

The last time I had a meal at a table was about 3-4 years ago, when I left the missis at home and went to Paignton by myself.

We're bad at eating in front of the telly, but if we have guests we sit round the table.

We mostly eat round the table with the kids. It's a great way to teach them coversation and table manners. Had them on my own this weekend while their parents went to London, so did sneak dinner, on trays, into the sitting room last night so that we could watch the "Doctor". Missed it on Saturday - worth it though, now we know who River Song is !!!

I always eat at table; dealing with stuff on your lap can be a bit tricky one-handed (it can be a bugger at buffet parties, do I eat - or drink - silly question! ), MrsSRD usually joins me but sometimes has to sit in her own chair if her spine is playing up particularly badly.

I would have thought from your knowledge of my whereabouts on the web you'ld have known all that.

I lost the use of my left arm, and damaged my left knee somewhat, as well as one or two other minor injuries, in a motorcycle accident some 30 years ago.
