I have done this marriage look up to see who the father for Mary was as it wasnt the James Nicklin we prev thought.

Sooooooooo ....who is this guy?
Why is she Mary Nicklin and father is reputed James Hingley did a James Hingley marry a Nicklin? If so who is the mother of Mary?
Are they on the census as a family?
Does Liam really die in Coronation street?

I'm getting nowhere fast with this but the two witnesses married each other
Matthew Kendrick and Mary Nicklin at Wordsley, Holy Trinity 1841 June qtr
It might be interesting to know who that Mary's father is because he could be uncle to the other one?

This is the 1841
Mushroom Green

Matthew Kendrick,20,iron roller,n
Mary ditto,15,nail m,y

James Nicklin,60,nail m,y
Hannah ditto,40,y
Ruth ditto,15,y
Ann ditto,10,y
Ambrose ditto,y
Sarah ditto,y

I'll add that to BCC but it doesn't help since James's sister Hannah seems to have married a Benjamin Weaver and had a pack of kids.

So who is that Hannah Hingley on the 1841 census with Charles Parish and mary she has to be mother to Mary Nicklin.
the only bapt I can see is this.........

MARY NICKLIN Christening: 03 DEC 1821 Park Lane Presbyterian, Cradley, Worcester,

Father: BENJAMIN NICKLIN
Mother: HANNAH

Extracted

they call one of their kids Hannah.

I am wondering Gardener if maybe that Hannah Nicklin who married Benjamin Weaver is another Hannah Nicklin?

As the idea that that Hannah Hingley with Charles Parish and mary Nicklin (wife) makes sense if she is sis to James.
So mary Nicklin who married Matthew Kendrick and Mary who married Charles are cousins.
or have I lost the plot.

But I think we might have the rite info cos on the marriage of Hannah nicklin and Ben weaver the wit is Henry weaver who married Hannahs sis ann maria nicklin.......

wot do we think?

Thanks for lookin Linell gonna have to leave her I think

It was such an odd thing to see on a marriage certif "reputed" father, funnily enuff the next certif also had it on!
so the vicar obviously felt the need to highlight certain things!
