Hi everyone, I hope someone will be able to help me with finding what happened to my fathers elder sister Clara Barraclough. She was 6 months old on the 1901 census so was born September 1900 in Leeds, parents James & Charlotte. I have not been able to find a marriage for her & she is not on my parents wedding photos in 1947. There is a death in 1920 Apl May June age 19 that would fit. Would I have to obtain the certificate to find out if this is the right one? I know there was a girl who commited suicide in the family & I wonder if this is her.
Have a good weekend
Loma.

Hi Loma
I think that getting the certificate is the best way to find out if this is your Clara -- there is a possibility that if it was suicide there was a report in the local paper at the time that would give you sufficient information as there would have had to be an inquest.
