Well Known Alveley surnames include - GARBETT, KNOWLES, SCRIVEN, KNOWLES, MORGAN, MASSEY, WILLIAMS, WOOD, HARLEY, HOLLOWAY, BINT, HIGGS, FRANCE, LINK, and many many more !

My late in-laws lived there for over 30 years. Lovely Shropshire village. They didn't originate from Shropshire though.

There are some lovely photos on the Facebook page, just had a quick look, and found one of my late Mother-in-law,( also Margaret Thompson) with Alveley W.I. in 1992.
