Hi I only need the 1911 census to complete my research for Esther
she is on 1901 census aged 56:
1901 Census:
Furlong, Warslow & Elkstone, Staffs
George Deaville, Head, 58, Farmer, Born Warslow & Elkstone, Staffs
Esther Deaville, Wife, 56, Born Warslow & Elkstone, Staffs
Harriet Deaville, Daur, 18
John Deaville, Son, 12
Mary A S Deaville, Daur, 7
Others Born Warslow & Elkstone, Staffs
and I have found her death on FreeBMD:
Deaths Mar 1923
Deaville Esther 77 Leek 6b 337
which means she was still alive in 1911
Thankyou

Thankyou
It seems that all my ancestors came from around the Leek area and after doing all this research I would really love to go back and visit. Hopefully I will one day. It's difficult to know how far these places are from each other. I have to google the places a lot of the time. I have managed to find pictures on the internet of some of the farms my family lived in and I find it really interesting. Its funny though that after all these years of living in the area my grandparents branched away a little...to Aston near Stone and then to Stone and then my mother married my father from Tenerife!! I was born at Aston and lived in Stone from the age of 5. I moved to Tenerife nearly 10 years ago. (I'm 40 years old now) My daughter met someone here and they have a child. he is Scottish and she moved to Scotland with him last year.....so now we are all over the place!! In a way that's why i'm trying to get everything down on paper to pass down for the generations to come....

Oh I live near Stone, there is a big new Marina and a Canal Side Walk and a Restaurant recently opened now. Have to agree with Sparks Hartingdon and Buxton are well worth a visit, there are some lovely places around there. Linell.
P.S. Dolly you are still a spring chicken aged only 40............lucky you.

Re: *ARC TBC* -- 1911 Lookup please Esther Deaville
Yes It is complete thankyou.
My grandmother still lives in Stone (Walton) aged 92! My daughter and grandaughter having moved to Scotland last year means that my next visit to the UK will probably be there and not my home town unfortunately, but I will definately be visiting the Buxton area sometime in the future when I go back. I have been there with my grandparents when I was little to put flowers on my great grand parent's graves and remember it being very scenic but next time being a lot older and having all this information I will take better notice.
Thanks for all your help
