But they're completely different things, snacks are things like sandwiches, nibbles are things like peanuts, peanut sandwiches are snabbles.

I agree SRD he needs to get his terminology correct

I think Rob is just tuned into the Icelandic way of thinking :-) The local company which makes crisps and things is called Störnusnakk and they have increased their output by 40% to meet an estimated increase of sales of 80% ready for Saturday.
Pizza sales go up by 40% as well. The accident department gets very quiet, and the streets will be pretty empty - then the usual night life will take over including a traditional Eurovision night at one club hosted by Páll Ã"skar who once did really really badly in Eurovision

Anyhow, this year's is a toe-tapping number and the author died tragically young earlier this year so his friends decided to sing on his behalf. Which is a heartwarming story if ever there was one. They are all professional musicians in various groups, and that is more than you can say about some of the other people who are going to be on stage!

I can't believe that France will win even if they are favourite now. I would not be surprised if Jedward won actually

I hope that's the case where I am! As long as they don't go celebrating/ drowning their sorrows afterwards, then I wont get any sleep!!!
I haven't seen many of the songs yet, but I like Jedwards style (and the song's written by two Danes!)
