*COMPLETED* ........ Terah Harris

Post by mallosa »

Looked up by RF - Cheers!

Marriage 10 Dec 1898 St Giles Rowley Regis
Terah HARRIS 26 W Labourer Gorsty Hill Father Andrew Harris Carter
Martha GREAVES 25 S Springhill Father Eli Greaves Nail Maker
After Banns
Both Signed
Wit; George Carter / Eliza Harris

Just added Terah to BCC, then looked for his father Andrew who I found is already on - here

There is a correction on Ancestry for 1881
Son - Frederick Harris[Terah Harris]
and it shows
Dau Sarah age 6

Surely that must be an error cos...

1891: 30 Gorsty Hill, Rowley Regis
Andrew Harris 53 (Transcribed as 33) Head Coal Dealer
Mary Harris 54 Wife Bromsgrove
Joseph Harris 23 Son S Tube Worker Halesowen
Terah Harris 18 Son S Lock Worker Halesowen
Eliza Harris 14 Dau Halesowen (Transcribed as Elisa)

This fits with his marriage above

Just looking on 'Ancestry' and noticed that a tree has Terah HARRIS's father as Andrew HARRIS(Born 1838) and his mother as Mary BRUNNEL BINNER (born1837)... it looks like they are on the BCC tree too?

the Ancestry member had a marriage date of 1866, Bromsgrove for Andrew and Mary.

They also had Andrew HARRIS's parents as John HARRIS(born 1817) and Eliza PAYTON(born 1817)

Any help?

I thought it was either Sarah or Terah but if you think they are 2 separate children born to Andrew and Mary, thats fine NL
