I'm not much use I'm afraid, my end of the County is too far for you to travel to daily (about 30/40 minutes). It depends on what sort of place you want, there are road house type places in Amesbury and Salisbury, there are bound to be B&Bs in the area but the better ones will be booked up by now, and a lot of the pubs do have rooms. You might try tripadvisor. Send us a PM when you're down, we'll come out for a beer.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

Had my holiday in Caleta de Fuste, Fuetreventura.
Loved it!
No problems getting there or back, no problems there, was perfect for us. All done by us booking not through a travel agency though.

Im a real home bird, rather stay at at home.

My husbands dad and step mum use the sun vouchers and have had brilliant holidays!

Getting cold here now. Nearly time for my migration North. Aiming for Cooktown as our turn-around point.

We haven't really made up our minds yet!

Although we're off to Hamburg for a long weekend with some friends - my crazy other half is running the marathon! Other than that we're toying with the idea of going to Copenhagen for a few days, with a few days various places on Sjæland (that's the isaland of Zealand to you lot). They're showing the Bodies exhibition for the second time, so I really want to see that, s'pose it's a bit of busmans holiday then!!
