New Baby

Post by Antie Em »

Jonathan came home from school yesterday to inform us that one of his teachers has had a baby - he was born on Saturday and he has a name I have never heard before - must be a new name. The baby's name is Elijah - how lovely is that :-)

I'll have to show him my family tree - loads of Elijah's there. Biblical names seem to be making a come back - I love them.

Jonathan was baptised Greek Orthadox and his Greek name is Ioannis, his sister is Elisabeth or in Greek Elisavet. If they get called their Greek names, they know they're in trouble.

I have a couple of Elijah's, along with Israel, Ezra and Jabez!

Yes Rob - I know there are, but not many of school age - only on Emmerdale. It was Jonathan asking if it was a new name, not me
