On the 1911 census living in same household as Albert Grove and wife Annie Grove nee Davis is a William Davis and Alice davis here..

1911 Census- 380 Long Lane Blackheath Hill Stourbridge Worcs
Alice Davis f 1882 29
William Davis m 1839 72
Albert Grove m 1878 33
Annie Grove f 1879 32
Lily Grove f 1904 7

Who is he?
is he the one mentioned in the bugle article?
is he her grandfather?
and who is Alice? a sister?

Rite think I have them on the 1891 and it means that the William there is father.


William is with wife Hannah?

I will post census in a min

Bet this is the Law angle that the bugle were not sure on!

This brings together many of the family names mentioned in the bible, with puzzling exceptions such as Law, Whitehouse and Westly, whom they could have possibly known through their church
