LDS 1881 Census index

It's been a while since I looked at my LDS 1881 Census index, so thought I'd re-install it onto my computer. I know that most of it is available on line, but as Mrs Loakesy has Scottish ancesters, which aren't available on Ancestry so I thought the LDS index would be a good place to start.

Anyway, I installed my Viewer v.4, with a bit of trouble, but got there in the end. Now I can't get it to access the 1881 and keep getting

Run-time error '5' Invalid Proceedure call or argument

And when I try the BVRI I get the massage

Run-time error '339' Component 'RFVFolioExport.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Has anyone come across these before? Does anyone know how to fix them?

I'm using Windows 7, if that helps.

Is there a site on the internet where I can search the Scottish Census/index for free?

Ancestry has Scottish census, only transcribed though not the image. Scotlands people only have the images so far.

Have you changed your operating system since you bought the CDs?
I changed mine and couldnt load it and I sent an email to the LDS and in a week I had another viewer to instal!
