The Grand National

Post by Rob »

It's the Grand National today!! I'd forgotten now i've got to pick a couple of horses and get my mate Winston to go down the bookies for me.
Any tips?
Are we allowed to mention living horses names on here? :?

The Midnight Club and West End Rocker.

Looks like me and Rob (or is that Rob and I) are thinking of our youth.

A thousand hands applaud tonight. I sing my songs, my star shines bright I stop and smile, I take my bow. I leave the stage and then somehow. Backstage I`m lonely. Backstage I cry. You`ve gone away and each night I seem to die a little.
That reminds me of a song!!

Ah what happy memories. Memories all alone in the moonlight, I can think of the old days, life was beautiful then.............

Saw Gene at the Hippodrome, Dudley with the Walker Brothers on the same bill, thought I'd died and gone to heaven. swooooon.

Oh Barb - Hippodrome days eh - saw Cliff there but I think he was called the Drifters then, before he became completely famous.. Anyway - my friends cousin played in the group and we had coffee with them after in ?? What was that coffee bar opposite the Hippodrome called :?:

Are you changing your frock :?
