I have far too much to get done, not even looked in the wardrobe at what clothes we all have never mind started to wash or pack anything.
So I wont be about much tomorrow or Thursday morning.
See you all soon, happy hunting.

Got back last night, only hope Jo has as good weather as we did - hadn't expected it to be that good. The wedding we went to had glorious sunshine - so much so that the photographers were complaining about people squinting in the sun!!!

Had a fantastic time! Went to Suzhou near Shanghai. Lovely city with canals - they call it "the Venice of the East" - of courseBut it is very attractive. Gorgeous gardens.
Saw pandas at the Panda Research Institute in Chengdu - sooo CUTE! Some of our group had their photos taken cuddling baby pandas ... ahhhh! But it cost 1000 Yuan and I'm a tight wad.
Tibet was absolutely marvellous - lots of snowy peaks, golden-roofed temples, and the most gentle, kind, friendly people I have ever met. We were all affected by the altitude, however (5200 metres), breathless, heavy legs, bad sleep, headaches, some with nausea (not me, NOTHING affects my eating!). We had to walk REALLY slowly - like a bunch of post-operative patients, and drink lots and lots of water. And when you drink lots and lots of water .... Think we found every public loo in Lhasa.
The train trip from Lhasa back down into China passed through amazing scenery - lots of yaks, more pointy white mountains, blue lakes, frozen lakes, more yaks, more yaks ... and, did I mention the yaks?
In Beijing did the usual stuff: Temple of Heaven, silk factory (shopping), Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, jade factory (more shopping), Summer Palace, pearl factory (still more shopping), Great Wall (lots more shopping at souvenir stalls), Olympic Stadium etc., (shopped out).
We had a stopover in Singapore on our way home, and guess what I did?
