Is there a Divorce index?

Well, that's it really! I need to find out if my relative divorced before marrying again, so a freely searchable database would be fabulous.

Any assistance very gratefully received.

Thanks for the reply! According to them:

These are kept by the Principal Registry of the Family Division (PRFD), and are not accessible by the public. Instead, officials will carry out a paid search of the index, and certified copies of the decrees can be bought

Not that helpful really!
