Some of you maybe interested to know that Stafford Archives have put all of the Duke of Sutherland's Papers on line, the biggest project they have ever taken on. His Ancestral home was at Trentham near Stoke, but he owned property all over Staffordshire, the above link is for the Wolverhampton area, that was the nearest place I could find to the BC. I am sure that he also owned some property in Rowley, but not found that listed as yet.
