just been looking here

and one tree with 71,000

ours has nearly 75,000 is it the largest tree on tribal pages ?

It might not be the biggest but it is the best!

Where does it show you the number of ancestors in the tree?

I know ours is from our own research be that our own families or ones from the
Black Country area that we research and take into our BC family, so it is maybe a record breaker?
Or heading that way :grin:

I really do think it is unique in that we have a theme that we all contribute to rather than concentrating on a single family.

There are first name studies.

But as far as I can see, we are the only ones with a large tree based on a location.

I think it's about as acurate as it can be too, the emphasis is on acurate info, not just numbers. If an anomaly is spotted then the info is corrected, or a note added to the effect that the info is only a possible, not a definate. I like the way we try to see how people connect together and the story behind the names. Can't wait for the moment my lot connect up to someone else in BCC!!

and running it is soooooooooooooo time consuming
I am so grateful for Jo's help and the other key admins they know what I mean.

Time to sort somat out I think......after we hit 100,000
cos I am going round the world in a cruise ship! :lol:
