This one has been driving me mad for 18 months.My 3 X Great Grandfather Charles Griffiths claims to have been born in Oldswinford Stourbridge in 1796 according to the 1841 census,however i can find no trace of him in St Marys baptisms or any other parish records stretching as far as enville .I can find many griffiths baptisms around that time but not the elusive charles.To make matters worse i can find two possible marriages for him and Elizabeth Howells my paternL ggg Grandmother in both 1816 and 1820 both at St Marys chapelry in Kingswinford i favour the first as i can pick up a birth of their first child in 1818 my gg grandfather absolom following on in 1822 from the IGI. Anyone any ideas?

same page few doors down looks like all in same household poss younger sister or daughter?

wow you lot are quick thanx all.got matilda as daughter found baptism on igi ,also found romsley connection but thought that was too late on as ggggrandad would only be 10 at first possible wedding!!
yup thanx got death at 1849 investigating possible colliery accident chronicled locally

there also a death for june 1847 stourbridge you know that 1849 is forsure ?

This only a christening date not a birth year.
