Re: John Hay(1775-1855) and Susannah Milton (1786-1847)
Thanks. Quite a number of the children/descendants of John Hay ended up living in the Black Country, Halesowen, Rowley etc including Isabel Payton who's family we are investigating.

John Hay(1775-1855) and Susannah Milton (1786-1847)
I have been looking back through research checking for problems/new information with my cousin Beth in America who is descended from John Hay. Looking at other Ancestry Trees I noticed that they nearly all had Susannah Milton married to a William Harris. They were both from Worcestershire and marrie...

Black Country Connections
I have just been trying to look one of my family up on Connections and cannot find the site. Does it still exist? A Google search just leads me to the Forum and an I am not a robot login type page which doesn't work.

Albert Percy Hack(1893-)
I am researching Albert Percy Hack(1893) who is the son of Albert George Hack(1868-41) and grandson of Betsey Hack nee Taylor on Ancestry and have a WW1 Medals hint but can find no more information. On Fold3 even the information Ancestry has does not seem to exist. He was awarded the British War Med...

Re: George Hack
The earlier baptism appeared when I was doing a search on Ancestry. I don't know what the odds are of having two Richard and Charlotte Hacks with a child called George born around the same date.

ARC TBC George Hack
I have been looking at George Hack (1825-) husband of Betsey Taylor and have found two baptism records, is this possible? There is one where he is baptized in Abbott's Morton (which matches Census information) as George Robert on 4th January 1828 age 4 years old with father Richard and mother Charlo...

Philemon Taylor
I have just seen the topic has been archived. Is there any other way of finding Philemon on the Censuses. I know finding the marriage/Margaret's surname is impossible.

Re: Philemon Taylor
Yes 21st September 1819 matches the date in the Bible, he was born about 8.30 in the evening. I looked up half baptized and it definitely means that he wasn't expected to live so the family wanted him blessed in this case by Rev. George, Rector at Stoke Prior. They would then haven actual baptism la...

Re: Philemon Taylor
The family were all baptized at St Michael's not St Luke's. I think you may have the wrong Stoke Prior. It is the one in Worcestershire near Bromsgrove. Having just looked at the Family Bible again it actually says half baptized at Stoke Prior by the Rector Reverend George. The family were all eithe...

Re: Philemon Taylor
It's a shame the 1841 and 1851 Censuses haven't come to light, depending on how young they were on marriage, the children could have left home by the time of the later Censuses.

Re: Philemon Taylor
That is the information I found. As I can't find marriage information I wonder if they married in Scotland although I do wonder how they met.
