Re: George White - 1865 - 1948
Sophie Jane White born 1872 is the sister of George (1865) so will need to have a look at one of his children's certs to confirm mother. Just for interest the death certificates I have for George and Hannah (Ann) show that they were still living at 53 Parsonage Street (living there in 1911 census) w...

Petred
thanks for adding 1911 info - forgot to add .
I have a few of the children's BC - again with brother. I need to get the younger ones, which I will do this week. Unfortunately I can't afford to get all of them so try to be selective.
Thank you for taking the time to help

Re: George White - 1865 - 1948
Thank you Pat
Unfortunately I do not think it is the correct family.
Do you happen to know the name of his parents?
The parents of 'My' George White were: David White and Mary Ann Meers

Thought I had already posted in introductions, but doesn't look as though I have. I have been looking at my family history on my paternal side for about 3 years. The main line I have been looking at is White, many of whom come from the Oldbury and Coventry areas. I have managed to both confirm and d...

Re: George White - 1865 - 1948
Thanks Maggie
I have his BMD certificates, just annoying me that I can't find his whereabouts for 1911 census. As you say he was probably out at the time - there is a line above Hannahs on the census, maybe it was left for him to be filled in later
