As I get further back the name Beswick seems to have come from Bestwick I have the grandparents as Thomas Bestwick and Sarah..possible maiden name Slack? My great grandmother was Annie Beswick Her daughter, my grandmother also Annie is still alive born 1919! From this I am sure that this is Florence :)

Trying to find out if James Henry Beswick and Thomas H Beswick were twins? Both born in Quarnford Staffs with parents Isaac Beswick and Ann In 1891 there is a James Henry aged 3 and in 1901 a Thomas H aged 13....The same person? or what happened to James?? Hope someone can help ...

Yes I do have the 1891 you gave me. I dont think that the 1901 is correct only because of the occupation The whole family have been farmers all the way through :(

Thanks I have had a lool and not sure which you thought were possibles My family seem to fall into the Longnor area and even though I can find possibles for all the others except Samuel there are no mother's maiden names I think I have hit a brick wall :(

Thanks My computer is not letting me see the links but yes they were all born in Quarnford The whole family seem to be from there and not moved very far at all. I know the local parish church there is St Paul's and a lot of my family are buried there so maybe John was married there too? I think you'...
