No, I haven't. Looks very interesting! Only thing I've noticed is that Lydia Ann died 1835 - the year before she married! I know that Lydia Ann Soper died in 1899. Still their details may be wrong. I'll look into it and let you know.

Yes, the family moved to Deptford and had 9 children. I have already traced Soper offspring from these children as they all went on to have large families as well - mostly living in London. I also think John Henry was Charles' brother as I have traced him as being an ancestor of Baron Donald Soper (...

1841 census shows them as already having 3 children! Will look on ancestry for other James Taylor's in that area. Thanks.

Many thanks for the promt reply! Yes that's the right family. They are mentioned in the census's but give me no clues as to their parents. The marriage details on the parish register mention James ?Taylor and an Edward Jarrett for witnesses. Incidentally, I found the marriage under the surname ?Jone...
