Driving me nuts!!

We were watching a programme the other night with Dan Snow and Sian Williams when they were at Dover Castle. In the courtyard there were 2 knights riding around on their horses when a hymn came into my head and I started singing "When a Knight won his spurs in the story of old" which we used to sing at junior school.

Now I can't get the darn hymn out of my head :!:

Bet it's in your head now after reading this. I just looove passing things on.

Earworms - drat them - I've been singing Shallow Brown for days:

(it was on the late night Prom a few days back)

June Tabor's version (actually from the Prom) is great too:

Had an Earworm that I actually enjoyed yesterday. I spent the best part of 7 hours removing a 6 foot tall Spirea Jungle from my daughter's front garden. She now has an area of garden she can plant in. The song that kept me going was The Cure - Friday I'm in Love.

I'm getting too old for this, I have my own to sort when I get home, not only that, I'm helping with the painting here too, as they have just bought a large old house and are renovating it. When I get home I have to finish my own redecorating, in ten days, before my house is full of visitors. So thanks for the kind offer SS but no.
