Worth passing on--Finding Wedding Churches

In the Family Tree magazine for September there is an article "Finding wedding churches" which the Guild of One-Name Studies has launched. It"™s a Marriage Locator tool at http://www.marriage-locator.co.uk which explains everything on the web site.
In the "Mailbox" section of the magazine, a PL Loach (I"™m pretty sure I know this man) has written a letter regarding Birmingham Registers. He has compiled a table of marriages in the Birmingham registration district between 1837 and 1924. A copy of his work has been given to Birmingham Archives as a finding aid for researchers. Readers who want to identify where a Birmingham registration district marriage took place he can be contacted.
I"™m not sure if I"™m allowed to put his email and snail mail address on the forum, but I"™ve found some of my marriages on the Marriage Locator.
I have nothing to do with this magazine, except being a subscriber for quite a few years now and can fully recommend it. When my copy comes through the post my husband says "Oh that will keep you quiet for some hours"
