I have found the same marriage date as you have peter on ancestry, William's great great grandfather was a John so that could be why they named 1 of their children John. What has come as a surprise is that these Kirton's come from about 20 miles from us near Shepton Mallet Ashwick which has tickled my husband as he thought
his ancestors were all Black Country. Hoping to go to Ashwick tomorrow for a look might find a few Kirton's there in the churchyard.

ashwick near downside, downside inn is where my brother had one of his first gigs :lol: :lol: live around that area for 12 years
