Using BMD Index I've confirmed the exsistance of 4 family members via marriage and death records but apparently NONE of them show up on the Birth records any ideas why should this would be so?

If you are still looking for the answer to this question, if you are referring to freebmd it is not complete, so could be the birth records you are looking for haven't been transcribed yet.
