I thought I got this worked out.... then I got myself tied up in knots...and now I'm not sure?... can someone please look at this and see what you think?

I think that this Sarah DEARNE

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... rne-Family

may be the daughter of this John DEARNE

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... onnections

and the Thomas DEARNE, who she marries ....is the son of this Stephen DEARNE

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... onnections

I think that the John DEARNE and the Stephen DEARNE could be brothers and therefore.. Sarah married her cousin. It also looks as though her sister Mary married another one of the cousins...Joseph

What do you think?

Very hot here and the brain is not working as it should
Thankyou

I found this on 'Ancestry'....
.....someone had found a baptismal record on IGI for Thomas DEARNE son of Stephen DEARNE and Mary WESTWOOD in Halesowen, Worc. 6 Sep 1702

Other trees had Sarah as daughter of John DEARNE & Margaret WILLETTS but haven't found IGI record yet to back this up

Looking at the Parish Register for Halesowen, there are a lot of Baps and Burials for Dearne in the 1700's ex pat, you would need to go through them all really to work out who belonged to who and who died and who didn't :?:

And then they get involved with the Cutlers and there are 1st cousins marrying 1st cousins and it gets so confusing that I am sure they did not know who was who even under their own roof.....

Is this still a Brickwall, or have you solved it?

Unless otherwise advised this will be moved to the Brickwalls Archived section
