My OH's late father. Don't have much info but his name was Cyril (ciggies)Slater from Oldham, born around 1936, dies 1976. He was killed in a lorry crash and despite OH phoning churches, he can't be found. He even tried register office but nothing.
How do I find where he is, OH has been looking for a few years with out success.

Killed in a lorry crash could have made the papers-- --you would probably be lucky to find it in the nationals but could well have made a local paper both where he was living and where the crash was if those are different
