Hi from Australia

Hi all,
I was born in Aldershot, and lived in Colchester (Essex) until I was almost 15 when the immediate family migrated to Australia in 1964.
I have a lot of nieces and nephews here, that I realised had no conception of the relatives that they have in England. So I dug out some old photos earlier this year, and posted them on facebook. This has stimulated a fair bit of interest in the clan here, and has generated some contacts with the English family. So all good.
However, curiosity got the better of me and I have been researching the family ancestory for the last couple of months. Seem to have reached an impasse in early 1800, so will probably be asking some questions of you good folk.
