Could someone please give me the details of the 1861 census entry for:

Jno L Wooloxall and wife Jane, living Liverpool and born 1801/1793

Then, if you could find them in 1851 it would be wonderful

White Chapel, Liverpool
John Lawrence Woolloxall, 40 Hair ?, n
Eliza ditto 18 months?, y
Thomas ditto,15, n
Henry ditto, 7, y
John ditto, 6, y
Charles ditto, 8 weeks, y

Thomas stayed in Liverpool. I wonder what happened to Henry? So hard to find them with these stupid name changes! Charles I know died, Eliza too probably. I don't understand the John aged 6 in 1841 because there was another son John, who was older.


I just got an emailf rom another Wolloxall and was spurred on to look at them again. I think that one of John L(awrence)'s sons (John bpt 1823) went to New Zealand and made a career as a comedy actor. He died in Melbourne and has a lovely monument there http://www.flickr.com/photos/rodbev/341 ... /lightbox/

There seem to be some living family members in New Zealand so fingers crossed I have found some rellies down-under
