Trying to tie up connection between Parsons and Asson or Aston families on bcc
Problem is that Asson Surname kept changing from Asson to Aston to Assom and Essen
On Ancestry Tree William Asson born 1819 Tipton Staffs.or Dudley Worcs. is shown as son of John Aston and Mary Ann Parbey
But I believe he was son of Obediah Aston/Asson :-
1841 Census Belper Row Dudley Worcs.
Obediah Aston 40 Furnace Labourer
William Aston 20
Hannah Aston 15
Mary Ann Aston 13
Sarah Aston 8
John Aston 5
Joseph Aston 3
Obediah Aston 6mths.
Three youngest Children born Worcs. Rest not born Worcs.

Note Joseph and Obadiah registered as Asson
